Joe Biden has been so concerned about getting Joe Manchin’s approval on climate control legislation that he’s lost sight of how Congress works. Manchin is but one senator – and a Democratic one.

The best way to get congressional support so that all of America is behind it is to ensure that it has bipartisan support. Manchin isn’t what’s stopping Biden’s legislation from going through – it’s 50 Republican senators who don’t want to see it happen.

Manchin is simply making sure that there isn’t a tie.

If the legislation were truly worth passing, at least one Republican senator would be willing to sign off on it. Instead, the Democrats want to shove it down our throats, knowing that it’s not only expensive but also impossible to oversee.

Biden’s plan for climate action is dangerous. There’s no telling whether anything that is done will save the planet. And, we’ve made considerable strides while countries like India and China are doing nothing to reduce their carbon footprint.

The whole concept of “clean energy” has been a joke.

The electric grid is already on shaky ground – and adding more electric cars that need a place to be plugged in is not going to help anything. And adding more wind turbines that can freeze in the winter or stop producing energy when there’s no wind is only going to add to the problems.

Yet, the Democrats are ready to ignore all of the blatant issues and charge full steam ahead. It’s not their money, so what do they care?

“Action on climate change and clean energy remains more urgent than ever.” This is the statement recently issued by the White House.

And Biden will do whatever it takes to raise taxes on Corporate America so that there’s funding to carry this out. He’s been clear that he doesn’t care about getting congressional approval, either.

“So let me be clear: if the Senate will not move to tackle the climate crisis and strengthen our domestic clean energy industry, I will take strong executive action to meet this moment. My actions will create jobs, improve our energy security, bolster domestic manufacturing and supply chains, protect us from oil and gas hikes in the future, and address climate change.”

He goes on to say that he won’t back down because he wants to “build a clean energy future.”

It’s funny how he cares about creating jobs now. How many did he get rid of when he closed down the various pipeline projects? And, he talks about energy security, but he literally eliminated that when he took office with another executive order.

Will someone take the pen away from the crazy man in the Oval Office? Each and every problem that we have in the U.S. right now has been caused by his executive orders.

If he would focus on getting bipartisan approval, the country would be better off.

There’s a reason he can’t get the bipartisan approval, though. The plans are bad.

And it’s not what America wants. Talk to anyone. They’ll say that their main concerns are high gas prices, inflation, the inability to afford a home because of the fed’s interest rates, and even education. Climate change is way down on the list of priorities for the average American.

Biden’s “strong executive action” isn’t necessary nor wanted. If he wants to be a good president (instead of the failure he’s been thus far), he has to start listening to what the people really want.

At least the Republicans and Joe Manchin are listening.
