Newsom Decides to Destroy California with Another Law…It’s Only Great News for Bounty Hunters

Thereâs a reason why people keep moving out of California. Gavin Newsom doesnât offer any reason to stay. Every time he passes a law, people roll their eyes in disgust and look for ways that they can move away as quickly as possible.
His newest law may be the icing on the cake.
It looks a lot like the SB 8 law in Texas where people are able to file lawsuits against abortion providers. Thereâs just one really massive difference: it allows lawsuits against gun dealers.
More specifically, the law allows people to file lawsuits against gun dealers who sell particular guns, such as those with no serial number as well as âassaultâ weapons. Bring on the bounty huntersâ¦
There are so many problems with this new law.
Abortion providers kill an unborn baby at the request of the mother. They are part of the crime.
Gun dealers sell a gun and are, then, out of the equation. What the person does or doesnât do with the gun is up to that individual. They choose when and where to pull the trigger.
The laws are not comparable. In order for them to be comparable, Texas would have needed to have made it so that people could have sued the companies that sold the various instruments used to perform an abortion.
Still, Gavin Newsom is trying to prove a point. And heâs hoping that heâs modeled his law well enough that it will fall under the same style of enforcement as Texasâs law. Essentially, heâs going toe to toe with the Supreme Court to prove a point.
Whole Womanâs Health v. Jackson was a case heard by the Supreme Court that said that Texasâs SB 8 was âimmune from meaningful judicial review.â
Newsom was furious with this ruling. He went on record to say that he disagreed with the Supreme Court and that it wasnât okay for states to basically dodge judicial review of laws that, according to Newsom, were âunconstitutional.â
Yet, hereâs Newsom doing the same thing. Heâll use the same loopholes so that he can create something that actually is unconstitutional so that he can limit firearm access.
Remember â the right to bear arms is a second amendment right that is found within the Constitution. Thereâs nowhere in those documents that give people the right to kill an innocent child that is still inside the womb.
The Office of the Governor of California tweeted out their justification for what they have done. âIf states can shield their laws from review by federal courts, then CA will use that authority to help protect lives. We will work to create the ability for private citizens to sue anyone who manufactures, distributes, or sells an assault weapon or ghost gun kit or parts in CA.â
All of that is such dangerous language.
There is no âassaultâ weapon. An AR-15 is commonly used for skeet shooting. Parts may be used to repair an existing weapon.
Many people target shoot for sport. Yet, because there are people who will rise up and kill because they are criminals, everyone has to pay the price.
The only thing that Newsom has done is help to put money into the pockets of every bounty hunter in the state. Theyâll be the ones targeting manufacturers and distributors. Meanwhile, any bad person who wants to get a gun to do bad things will still be able to do so.
Newsom has only shown that he is a toddler in his thinking. And everyone in the state has to suffer from his juvenile thought process.
