The Left Escalates War Against Republicans! Wants To Force Loeffler To Sell WNBA Team
When Senator Kelly Loeffler took over the seat that had been vacated by Johnny Isakson last December, this was an incredible moment in her life. Fast forward a few months and now she is under fire. The Black Lives Matter movement has her in their sights and they are not going to be letting up anytime soon.
Sheâs received a number of threats as of late. The Capitol Police is in the process of investigating. A recent campaign event in Cumming, Georgia brings the full scope of this conflict into clearer focus. She and Senator Tom Cotton were trying to address the crowd at a local community center. Two Black Lives Matter supporters showed up and refused to allow them to speak.
These two women knew exactly what they were trying to do. One of them had run for Senate in the past. Loeffler has been critical of the protests and the violence that they cause. This is not going to fly with the Black Lives Matter movement. By proposing the Holding Rioters Accountable Act, sheâs placed herself directly in their cross hairs.
District attorneys who are not willing to prosecute rioters need to be held responsible and thatâs what this act aims to do. Itâs not popular to support law enforcement at the moment but Loeffler is standing up for what she believes in. Sheâs tired of cancel culture as well, as most of us are at this point.
During a recent interview with Fox and Friends, Loeffler spoke passionately about the need for this new law. She wants protests to remain peaceful and for rioters to be held accountable. This shouldnât be a hot take or a controversial opinion but here we are. Loeffler paints the upcoming election as a chance for Americans to choose between chaos and a return to normalcy.
âDo they want the opportunity to have free expression, to have the rule of law, safety, and security in their communities? This is the type of legislation I have been introducing to help the president to make sure that we have a strong, safe economy. Or do we have the chaos and pandemonium that they want to create just to consolidate power in the radical left?â she asked.
Itâs a good question that no one seems to be able to answer with a straight face. Capitol Police is now being asked to investigate letters that have been sent to Loefflerâs office, as she claims multiple threats have been made against her recently. One of the letters was shared with the Atlanta Journal-Constitution and it is disturbing to say the least.
She was told that she could expect to be stabbed if she did not sell her stake in the WNBA. Sheâs a part owner of the Atlanta Dream. The aforementioned newspaper tried to downplay the threat, showing the postmark that indicates the letter was sent from North Texas. As for the team themselves? They are not standing with Loeffler either, wearing shirts to show their support for her Democratic opposition.
Loeffler is not going to sell her stake in the team, standing her ground when it comes to this matter. âNo person, regardless of their political views, should be threatened for sharing their beliefs and I will continue fighting for free speech in America,â she said. Georgia Labor Commissioner Mark Butler has offered his endorsement and she will continue her campaign. Butler refers to her as a proven champion of conservative causes.
We have now reached a point in this country where anyone who is conservative is considered a racist. Loeffler is facing stiff competition in the upcoming election, as Georgia is having a special free for all format. 20 candidates are running and there will be a runoff at the start of 2021 if no one is able to receive at least 50 percent of the vote. Stacey Abrams and a number of prominent Democrats are all that stands in Loefflerâs way.
